Hey, I'm Maharu, (pronounced Ma ru) a traveling wedding and elopement photographer based in Los Angeles, California!

I picked up photography as a hobby during my early teenage years and and fell in love with the craft ever since. Photography is passion that has been with me for quite sometime and has led me into an entrepreneurial path. I believe in supporting one another and what’s a better way of helping couples celebrate one of the most special moments of their lives than weddings. I also believe in making sure couples feel comfortable while capturing their wedding date. Outside of photography, I am an advocate for creating music, running and healthy lifestyle.

As a Ethiopian-American, if your planning a cultural wedding, your tradition is celebrated here. Every wedding brings its own challenges, beauty, and joy that I strive to capture with every photo. Feeling confident and being informed before the wedding date is crucial, not only for you but also myself. Your free consultation is for me assist you and make sure your getting exactly what your looking for. We'll go over what your plans are for the big day and ensure everything goes smoothly.

You want to see how albums look like in your hand? I've got samples for you to actually get a feel for the quality. Get in contact and schedule your consultation. I'd love to show you!

There is no limit to the amount of photos you can receive. Wedding starting coverage approximately delivers between 400-1000 high resolution images. The longer your wedding day is, the more photos you will receive.

One hour engagement session typically deliver between 30-50 high resolution images. While I often do take more photos than this, its my goal to give you variety of beautiful images to choose from.

Thank you! I'd love to connect and chat. A signed contract along with retainer is required to officially hold your date, and final payment is due 7 days before your wedding date.
