I have many years of experience with the challenges weddings may bring and take joy in capturing moments that last forever. When planning a wedding, It’s easy to get caught up in the planning and forget about the things that really matter, the lasting memories. I understand the stress that comes with planning a wedding and so I simplify the process. Hey, I’'m Maharu, (pronounced Ma roo) a traveling wedding and elopement photographer based in Denver, Colorado
I picked up photography as a hobby during my early teenage years and and fell in love with the craft ever since. Photography is passion that has been with me for quite sometime and has led me into an entrepreneurial path. I believe in supporting one another and what’s a better way of helping couples celebrate one of the most special moments of their lives than weddings. I also believe in making sure couples feel comfortable while capturing their wedding date. Outside of photography, I am an advocate for creating music, running and healthy lifestyle.
As a Ethiopian-American, if your planning a cultural wedding, your tradition is celebrated here. Every wedding brings its own challenges, beauty, and joy that I strive to capture with every photo.
